modern mountain residence
This custom, modern-mountain residence is located in the community of Tetherow on the west side of Bend. TEN OVER’s landscape team worked in collaboration with the homeowner’s architect to create a beautiful landscape design that enhances their outdoor living space and creates a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.
A minimalist aesthetic drives the use of clean, consistent materials near the home and within the patio spaces that are functional while protected from the elements. The use of heat, shade, and vertical elements are used to enable use of their outdoor space through the hot summers and cold winters that are common in Bend’s high desert climate.
The landscape design transitions the use of climate appropriate ornamental plant species near the house and out to native re-vegetation areas. The result was a beautiful blend of architecture and landscape elements that enhance mountain living in beautiful Central Oregon.
