THE OCTAGON BARN CENTER

The Octagon Barn Center creates an authentic destination for locals and tourists to enjoy recreation, education, conservation, and the arts.The 6.25-acre Center rehabilitates and preserves four existing farm buildings, including the 110-year-old Octagon Barn structure, an iconic landmark often seen as the “gateway” to San Luis Obispo. Additional buildings include the Milking Parlor, Calf Barn and the Shed.

Landscape detailing and planting selections were thoughtfully designed in order to highlight San Luis Obispo's unique sense of place. Native and drought tolerant plants were purposefully placed in order to blend into the surrounding countryside.
