Tyler & Lieu Dit Tasting Room

TEN OVER STUDIO was thrilled for the opportunity to design a new tasting room for the Tyler and Lieu Dit brands in downtown Santa Barbara.

The project inlcuded remodeling an existing restaurant space into a tasting room with an updated commercial kitchen. The program required the development of various experiences within the same space so that guests can choose their level of engeament with the brand. Casual seating areas invite guests to grab a bottle and a quick bite, while more private dining spaces offer an in-depth, cerebral approach to tasting flights, connecting with the winemaker, and the brand’s philosophy.

Furnishings, fixtures, and materials were selected by TEN OVER STUDIO in line with the brand’s identity and values. Material selections were inspired by the local terroir, such as the limestone tiles on the bar’s facade, which pay homage to the limestone-rich soil of the Santa Rita Hills, where Tyler & Lieu Dit grapes are lovingly grown.
