WATSONVILLE VET’S HALL REMODEL

TEN OVER STUDIO was hired to design the remodel and expansion of the existing Watsonville Veterans Memorial Building. Public outreach events, hosted by the County of Santa Cruz, were utilized to determine potential uses for the building. At the events, county staff shared the vision, goals and process with residents. Attendees had the opportunity share their thoughts via a short survey and table discussions. TEN OVER staff attended the events and led table discussions to better understand the wishes of the residents. The public events led to the preservation of the existing street front building with the addition of a new 4-story residential building in the back.
