Architecture for Law Enforcement Facilities

As part of the 5th Annual Station Design Conference, TEN OVER STUDIO leads a team of four award-winning architect firms with experience in designing police and public safety facilities in sharing their insights on the latest innovations in police stations and public safety facilities. The pre-conference program targets police chiefs, officers, facility managers and city managers and will showcase the latest innovations and trends in designing police stations, including security technology, equipment and storage centers, labs, and fitness rooms.

Operations-Based Design

Candice Wong and Jim Duffy of TEN OVER STUDIO will deliver a presentation on operations-based design, a method for planning and building the most effective station. Says Candice, “Designing a station that is responsive to the department in every way is the most responsible way to design. It not only creates a safe and secure work environment for personnel, it is also effective for the community that the facility serves.”

Design Briefing

Attendees who have already started their design or building will have the opportunity to meet with one of the architects for an independent review of their project. The Station Design Conference also offers an opportunity to network with other chiefs, officers, and city managers who are building new facilities to serve their communities.

The conference runs May 9-11 at the Bob Bolen Public Safety Training Complex in Fort Worth, Texas.
