TEN OVER STUDIO gets Green Biz Certified
/We are proud to share that TEN OVER STUDIO is San Luis Obispo’s first business to be Certified by the California Green Business Network. Late this summer, it was announced that San Luis Obispo County received a grant to promote green practices for local businesses. The certification process forces businesses to take a closer look at the sustainability of both their practices and footprint.
The program currently exists in 30 cities and municipalities throughout the state and has now made it to the Central Coast after the county was awarded the grant. TEN OVER was one of the first businesses that program director, Cory Jones, called upon on the heels of our B Corp Certification in 2017. According to the Green Business Network website “Green Businesses implement practices that lead to cost savings in energy, water, and garbage bills and we provide the free technical assistant to help businesses make lasting changes”.

The certification required our office to make some small but significant changes. These included swapping out our faucet’s aerators, getting a low flow shower head, committing to green cleaning products as well as 100% recycled paper products.
